ABOUT PROJECT
We are together again!
The growing interest of various audiences to this project from fine art experts, curators, students of art oriented faculties, intellectuals, to unsophisticated spectators, is reflection of the fact that his potential is going far from the limits of local format and demands a reconsideration and extension of geography of public.
Already at this level it is evident that this project is unique, as it comprises the biggest collection of ballpoint pen artworks in the whole world – more than 1000 work of around 200 authors. And while talking about the numbers, that is also worth to bear in mind the high artistic quality of works.
So we are continuing our fascinating and interesting trip to the art with daily office paper and simple ball-point pen. This is such kind of exiting trip that is better to start together.

Trivial office paper and usual ball pen become instruments of art.
A4 BALLPOINT is an annual portfolio-project which was created in 2006 by Karas Gallery - one of the first galleries of the contemporary art of independent Ukraine.
Drawings are accepted within a year. In 2015 drawings are accepted till December, 20.
Opening of the exhibition: December, 25 at 19:00.
Format: office A4 paper (vertical orientation), monocolored ball pen (not gel, etc.).
Regular annual exhibitions with presentation of the catalog of last exhibition take place at Karas Gallery on New Year's Eve at the end of December.
Authors donate the artworks to a project collection, in exchange receive catalogs of the project in which their works are published.
The given, but not entered works need to be taken away within half a year, after the end of an exhibition.
